We ordered several packs of the Tax Free Tip slim jims from the RP HQ site. These have proven to be extremely effective in getting the attention of folks working in the service sector. Anyone that counts on tips as part of their income are immeditaly on board with this info. Bartenders, taxi drivers, wait staff, dancers, etc. These folks are in a wonderful position to spread the word about Ron Paul too! These good folks come into every type person and every demographic on a daily basis, low, mid and high.

Anybody who hates writing letters--this is another option! I know I way prefer email---my handwriting is barely legible these days. Today is our day to reach more voters for Ron Paul. Today, Before the Holiday madness. Whether you write a 'real' letter, call people in New Hampshire or email with these guys, it all counts as more possible votes, more people that have heard something Good about Ron Paul! This personal touch action campaign backed up by the Tea Party will change everything! We need ALL the new people we can get. (and if the weather is crappy, you stay warm doing it!) ;-)

I write "notaxontips.com" on every tip receipt that I encounter, but I'm going to go print some cards up so I can put those out instead as they'll catch attention easier.

Event Description: Hello everyone,

Austin Petersen here! I need all of you and everyone you know across the USA to volunteer to help with the HUGE HOME BASED PHONE DRIVE!!!

The greatest part about this event is that you can do it from home, you don't have to go anywhere. All you'll need is a cell phone with free minutes and a computer with an internet connection!

The Libertarian Party has opened up their phone banking website for us to use at

If you would like to participate please go to ballotbase.org and register on their website. Once you have finished, you will receive a confirmation email. Then you'll have a username and login. Then on Saturday you just log in, pick up your phone, and call the phone numbers. In the website is a very simple tutorial on how to use the system, there's a simple interface that allows you to record the status of the call. It's very important to get as many people as we can all over the USA or even the world to call New Hampshire that day.

If you prefer you may come to NY Headquarters that day. Bring a laptop, and phone and we will provide the internet connection.

Again, to participate:

1. Register at ballotbase.org

2. Familiarize yourself with the website and use the easy tutorials they provide

3. On Saturday at 1PM EST log in to the website and start making calls. The script will be there directly underneath.

Not time to consider "options" like this!

OK - so maybe he doesn't get the nomination. Sure, a bunch of you say you'll vote for him anyway - write in, other's say they will vote third party. But you all sound like you want to give up, go home and then make a final gesture at the ballot box.

It doesn't have to be like that. Who says we have to stop the Revolution? Who says we have to have a cooperating candidate? And look at the bright side - no official campaign means no McCain-Feingold! Unfortunately, the media will ignore us unless we get really creative or buy our broadcast space. Not that different from now.

We are building a movement, the more momentum it has, the more it will snowball. The more people hear about Dr. Paul, the more he catches on. Basically, it's a matter of time till we have the numbers needed. If he decides to drop out after Feb 5th, we could keep going and have enough support to win in the general. If we kept going.

So, if he drops out, are you going to?

In any event, we need to stay together - form the Ron Paul version of MoveOn, or whatever and work at getting people into Congress. Maybe start the presidential campaign to get him elected in 2012, and I don't see him retiring that soon.

If it does end up as a write in campaign, it would be a good wake up call. By November, we should be so big that a couple of news worthy things would happen, even if we lost. A) Voting precincts would run out of write in ballots and B) the time taken to count all the write ins would significantly delay the results.
That would happen if we won or lost - we'd just have to show well.

Hay - it's another bite at the apple - if too many people don't bail.

Dr. Paul will be speaking in Greenville, SC THIS Saturday, Dec 8th from 7-9pm at the Peace Center Ampitheatre
(300 South Main Street, Greenville). They are hoping to get thousands there but realize this is short notice. He will be speaking for 30-45 minutes and will mingle with the crowd afterward. Let's make all the restaurant owners and waitstaff know who Ron Paul is!

What we do is mine restaurant email addresses and phone numbers from the internet. We then send the email below or call and ask for an email address. Its really very simple, powerful and it doesn't cost anything but your time and energy.
We are targeting primary states and areas where Ron Paul will be speaking. Eventually we will hit the whole country.

The phone call, e-mail effort very much needs to be coordinated in order to prevent redundant duplication of contact.
Secondly, we need worker bees. If you have unlimited long distance calling, wonderful! There are folks just like you making calls as I type this. But most people reading this don't have that service. What they do have however, is a phone, a computer, their yellow pages and the willingness to make some local calls and send some e-mails. Are you house bound and can't pound the pavement for Paul?? You can help! How many calls?? Your choice. 10,... 20,... 50? You pick the number. "Many hands make little work!" Obviously we need many, many hands.
