CRASH!

Ron Paul approval rating 84% in his district, so much for him not representing his people huh?

A Moore Information survey conducted for Paul’s campaign showed Paul picking up 74 percent of the vote in a primary contest. Seventy-nine percent said they had a favorable impression of Paul, with 84 percent approving of his job performance.

“I personally think he’ll win that primary with 60-plus percent of the vote, even with three opponents, so I find it kind of interesting,” said Mary Anne Wyatt, chairwoman of the Victoria County Republican Party. “There’s no question that Rep. Paul is very popular in his district and has been for some time. It hasn’t been an enigma—it’s been a fact.”

“I don’t think he views any of us as a threat,” conceded Graney, who says he has spent $80,000 on his campaign.

My neocon rep

My neocon rep would sell his soul to the devil for that kind of support.

Paul and no Bank.

If he's truly a Neo-Con, he already has......

Sold his soul to Satan, that is.

He probably already did. Yet

He probably already did. Yet still can't keep up with the Pauls in the polls :)

Fixed.

Fixed.

The media must be rotten 'cherry-picking'

dissatisfied constituants, for all the trash talk we are hearing from the MSM types.

Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants! Leviticus 20:5

The bad guys just wanted RP to have to

spend his time, effort and money on campaigning. Can't have lots of that campaign cash hanging around for 2012, don't ya know.

I wish I were in his district.

Just found out that my parents are moving there, though! Unfortunately, not until after Tuesday's election.

And secondly,

What do these people want from a congressman? Why do they mean by "representing" them? My congressman doesn't listen to us, and as far as I can tell he spends all of his time kissing barack's toes. Then he sends us an e-mail about once a month spinning how great his "job-creation" efforts are going and other obvious lies.

He sent me the stock "the fed is our lord and savior" e-mail for several months before he EVENTUALLY signed on to the audit bill (long after it became mainstream). He clearly did not care about what we had to say or about the facts and simply wanted to insult me with his nonsense.

Yet my complaint with the guy isn't that he isn't "representing" me, its that he's a no-nothing and that his votes contradict his stated policy goals of helping the poor and middle class families.

I guess its no surprise that somebody who wants to pretend to be an anti-tax fiscal conservative running against Ron has to resort to patently ridiculous, unverifiable claims in order to distinguish himself.

Ron Paul

Our district is made up of several different types and races and politics.
Ron brings us together.
Rons message speaks far and wide here.
He makes politics fun!
He has personally been spanking neocons for several, several terms.
They cant figure out how he wins!
He brings no pork. He votes no on everything!(That really pisses the establishment off, here!)
They think he sounds stupid. They get so mad!

One time they had a Democrat jump sides by promising said Democrat, (Greg Laughlin), he would run unopposed in the congressional primary! So the Dem jumped at the chance to sell out his party! He thought he would run unopposed!LOL!
Well, Ron never agreed to such a deal, and beat Mr. Laughlin by more of the vote then 2 years prior, spending less money!(LOL! Like a true conservative would do!)
HaHa! The Neo's were spanked and embarrassed! Everyone knew what they did and the public found out and turned out the vote even MORE!

Another time, Mr. Delay from district 22(Now 22, it wasnt 22 before he redrew the lines) but Mr. Delay redrew Ronnies (OUR)district in an unprecedented attempt to unseat the famous Dr. Ron Paul! Delay re-drew, in an unprecedented fashion, in the middle of the decade.. that had never been tried before! You may have heard of this a few years back....No one knew it was done to try and unseat Dr. Paul!
The media never reported "why" the Republicans had decided to redraw lines, they only reported that Delay did this and never said why...
Well, RON WON REGARDLESS! LOL! It was sooo funny!
The Neocons were beside themselves! They pushed Delay to the top of the heap and worshiped him, "Because" he let them down! This is how neoconservatives act.
When one fucks up, they promote you!LOL!
Anyway,
You will never hear Ron speak of this, he is too modest,
but he plays their fiddle and they cant stand the "torture"
of a can of whip ass opened by Dr. Paul!
Ron brings it!

Freedom is indeed popular

Thanks for your neighborhood view of Dr. Pauls' campaign history there.

It's been said that, "ALL politics is local." I believe this is, first of all, because Liberty is so very dear to our hearts, and near to our homes.

Thanks for posting this info.

Thanks for posting this info. I had heard little bits about it, but had never gotten the full picture. That really filled in the blanks. Thanks!

Hi

Your welcome!

From graney's website:

"While personal liberties are very important and must be protected, we must balance those liberties with our traditional American values that have made this nation the strongest on the planet. Many of the ultra-Libertarian views of Ron Paul, conflict with our traditional values."

Has anyone ever figured out what these guys mean by traditional American values? I hear it all the time and the idea never really gets scrutinized.

This whole time, I thought that freedom and justice were the core of the traditional American values. It sounds like by using the phrase "traditional American values", guys like this can justify in their minds taking away freedom if they don't like the particular activity.

As far as I can tell, the whole "traditional American values" thing is a cover for the fact that they hate gay marriage. I don't much care for gay marriage either, but at the same time, I don't much care for straight marriage as a proposition where the government is involved. Marriage appears to be a symbolic/religious ceremony which should have nothing to do with the government, so that whole debate is completely missing the point.

The only other guess I would have is that it is a cover for him wanting to keep drugs illegal while still pretending to be for "personal liberty". On that note, I happened to notice that this graney is quite a portly fellow. In fact, it looks like his diet may have consisted of jelly beans and processed bologna for the past 50 years. If he has enjoyed his personal liberty to stuff his face with food, why should he want to take away the personal liberty of somebody else who may enjoy other activities? And then he has the nerve to call Ron a hypocrite on his website. Perhaps he should take a look in the mirror.

Although I must admit that I laughed at the part where he spent $80,000 of his own money so that he could make a bumbling fool out of himself on television.

Traditional america values = were number 1

And we must show everyone that at all times. Just kidding but I find the nationalist spirit in these folks entertaining. "greatest country on the planet" Yea with the fastest printing press in world history...thats how you paid for it your fool.

I think the traditional american values are: Gays can't get married, And don't do drugs.
Just a hunch

"Traditional American values"

"Traditional American values" or as I like to say "the home improvement nation",where through the force of law they mold people into their "ideal American".
Also with state propaganda we,as a majority, have become very obedient.Since the spirit of liberty has been replaced with the comfort of safety, the social programmers have set their sights on the world...

"Traditional American Values"

= conformaty

Graney

spent $80,000 of his own money. As Buggs Bunny would say
"What a Maroon" Just shows the wasteful idiotic neo- mentality. It is a means to an end.

A fool and his money....

... are soon parted... join the Romney club.
