MORE REVOLUTIONARIES ARE NEEDED IN HAWAII

Fellow Revolutionaries,

Several days ago I sent out the following message:

The GOP in Hawaii is playing dirty. They are attempting to spread the false message that the only Republican candidate in the race is McCain . They are also claiming that Ron Paul is no longer in the race. They have done this first by removing Ron Paul from the GOP website:

http://www.gophawaii.com

They only have McCain listed as the presumptive nominee.

Here is the MOST OUTRAGEOUS part:

They have begun phone banking all the delegates that will attend the convention to let them know that McCain is the only candidate in the race in order to sway the outcome of the State Convention. We cannot let this happen!

Here is my proposal for any and all willing revolutionaries:

FIRST contact the chairman of the State GOP, Willis Lee, and let him know that they should include Ron Paul on their website. His email is: chairman@gophawaii.com

SECOND phone bank the Hawaii delegation to let them know Ron Paul is still in the race.

Here is the list of all delegates:

http://www.filefreak.com/...

The State Convention will be held May 16th - May 18th.

We need to get as many people calling as possible. If you call on nights or weekends from your cell it will be a free call. If you can't call then email them.

We have a good chance of winning Hawaii and the GOP is afraid, let's show them what we can do if we work together!

KEEP THIS BUMPED UNTIL MAY 16TH!!!!!

PS The area code for all numbers is 808.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You guys have been doing great so far, and you have created quite a stir in the Hawaii GOP. However they are now countering our efforts with the old "Ron Paul is a white supremacist" story. This is old news and the GOP is looking for anyway to discredit Ron Paul before our state convention. This story was sent out by a neo-con GOP supporter named Andrew Walden. His email is uhhcr@email.com

Let him and the GOP know that we mean business, and Ron Paul is still a viable candidate.

In Liberty,

Tyler Durden

Talk with Hawaii's Meetups before calling delegates

I just emailed Willis Lee.

I contacted some RP people in Hawaii to visit this posting and let us know whether we can help them or whether they are undercontrol.

Let's get their feedback before calling their delegates. You may want to remove the delegate list from this posting until they advise.

The Clock Is Ticking

Get the word out to these delegates!

thanks for the update...I will hold off

Please keep us updated

Email/Call Now

No time to hold off anymore!

We need all the help we can

We need all the help we can get in Hawaii especially since the convention is just around the corner

A formal complaint...

to the Federal Election Commission is appropriate, with a courtesy copy to state GOP Chairman Willis Lee. A formal complaint can be nothing more than an email at the FEC.GOV site. Make sure you CC: all the local media.

very nice

very nice

Mahalo for your kokua!

this is great!!!

so are these all the delegates from Hawaii?? I take it they are not all Ron Paul supporters..

Where did you get this list?? Is it possible to get a similar list for each state???

No these are not all RP

No these are not all RP delegates. You must talk to your state's GOP leadership in order to get this list. In our case we were lucky to infiltrate and get the list. If you have any RP supporters in a leadership position within the GOP it will be much easier to get the list.

the jig is up

Although it was only a matter of time before they saw our strategy. They are now countering with might. We (are) the people, and cannot be deterred! We must press on, and sidestep their little games. They have just as much communication as we do, let's hit those phones, computers and bulletin boards up. When people see what dis-info the GOP is spreading, they're going to wonder what's up and investigate further. Onward we march! Go Ron Paul go!!!

Yep, I got Andrew's missive

He copied and pasted a whole, long article on what a bigoted white supremacist RP allegedly is. *yawn*

The other ammunition they fired back at me was generally along the lines of this persuasive retort: "Ron Paul is a NUT!!" Despite such attempts of compelling argument, these writers failed to sway my convictions...

Frankly, I am astonished at how much vitriol is spewed from these Republicans from the Aloha State. I mean, sheesh, there was one who basically belittled my support of RP and tried to invite me to join McCain's campaign so that I would "actually have a voice in the process"...that was single sole responder who wasn't completely rude.

The rest who responded (outside of polite "please remove me from your mailing list" requests) were obnoxious, hateful, and often flat-out immature.

The good, hopeful news is this: even though I have so far received over a dozen hateful responses, and about 40 bounce-backs, I had sent out over 500 emails (and got my email account suspended for 24 hours in the doing -- check your terms of service before sending out huge numbers of emails). That means that a large portion of those delegates either simply chose not to respond, or...they are considering the information presented.

I do need to advise that several email addresses are out of date, and just bounced back to me. I don't know how updated the phone numbers or addresses are, but my guess is, prolly about 20% may be outdated. Just so you know what to expect.

Thanks for the update! By

Thanks for the update!

By the way what email service did you use? Was it gmail?

Yep, Gmail

Thankfully, I didn't use my main account, but a separate one. But you know what would have been nice? If Gmail would have thrown up some sort of alert such as, "Sending X number of emails may freeze your account for 24 hours. Proceed anyway?" I mean, they give enough other alerts (such as when you mistype an email address, adding in a space inadvertently); so why not for this?

I've never (ever!) sent so many emails in one day, so I had no idea to expect that penalty. Now, I know! ;)

so does anyone know how many

so does anyone know how many gmail will allow to be sent

did you email the whole list??

Please let us know...I was calling the whole list...

All who had emails listed

Sorry for the delay in responding; I hadn't seen these questions 'til the topic got bumped. :)

I sent to each person who had an email listed. It was a total of 507, I think.

Evidently, gmail's cut off is 499, because I had successfully sent emails to that many addresses, and after a break, came back to send to the last few. That's when I got the hand-slapping notice from gmail that sending 500 or more emails in a day gets your account sent to the Time Out corner for 24 hours.

Hm, now that I think of it, perhaps those last few never made it to the addressees...
