The latest netroots phenomenon is—surprise!—none other than Ron Paul, the little known Republican congressman from Texas' 14th District. A former U.S. Air Force flight surgeon and career obstetrician, Paul charged into the political arena to fight, what he sees as the federal government's overly dominant role in health care and many other functions better left to the private sector or state and local authorities.

FED: The perfect scam

One more point to go along with Wes's comment about the FED (after the original article).

Since the FED has printed all the money now in circulation but is to be paid back WITH INTEREST, could there ever be enough money in circulation to pay back the principal and interest fully? That is a mathematical impossibility (unless, of course, we are really productive and occasionally give them the shirt off our back). The perfect scam! No wonder they can afford every major media outlet. (And what else would be your most prized asset?!)

Just another quasi-smear job. This article actually says Paul odds are "microscopic" I posted a lengthy comment to his article on the CJR site.

They still slip in the word

They still slip in the word "isolationist" instead of "non-interventionist". I made a comment to them about that.
