Has Anyone Heard Of "Common Purpose"?
I was reading about the Irish voting 'No' on the EU treaty on a British website when I stumbled on this http://www.commonpurpose....
A group called Common Purpose, the website is so vague about what they do, Obama could have written it ;)
It sparked my interest so I searched it and found this http://aftermathnews.word...
It basically says Common Purpose is a tool of the Globalists and is putting their people in all levels of British government, and that they're expanding to America and other countries.
I'm curious, has anyone heard of them before?

Never heard of them before,
Never heard of them before, but they're on my radar now.

From looking at their website...
...it seems obvious to me that they are not a political organisation as such!
Is Anthony Robbins political? Not really. He just "coaches" people who think they are hotshots. For lots of money.
Is the MBA course an NWO plot? I doubt it. All the same, alot of people making money teaching it.
I think the "agenda" of Common Purpose is to make money by "training" people who are looking for careers in politics or public administration.

From their website
they seem to be benevolent and bipartisan. But if you have a closer look it gets really eerie:
"Very few people emerge from Common Purpose with their prejudices - or working practices - unchanged. As their perspective gets wider, their vision improves. As their vision improves, their decision-making gets better. They forge networks that can have a major impact on their organisation and the community (networks which no other experience can provide)."
They definetly don't stop with teaching. At best it's promoting the soft-facist top-down approach typical for EU-institutions.
Watch the video I posted on the comment below (not a great fun factor in it, sorry) The guy claims common purpose is builting up a hierarchical grit of "graduates"over all levels of government institutions, police, military, schools and even the underworld. And it sounds pretty reliable.
Dr. Paul cured my apathy
I have six "issues" with the video
1. The presenter waffles on for 11 minutes before he even mentions Common Purpose. What's up with that? Maybe I'm old fashioned. If I was giving the talk I'd start by saying: "Hello, I'm Brit4RonPaul. I'm here to talk to you today about a sinister organisation called 'Common Purpose'. Blah, blah, blah..." Is he trying to create tension? Manipulate his audience?
2. The presenter makes a huge "leap of faith". He points to public concern about the failures of all public institutions in Britain and lays all the blame at the foot of Common Purpose. That's a stretch.
3. The presenter mentions that Cressida Dick was a Common Purpose graduate. So what is the conspiracy? An unknown Brazilian electrician shot dead in London by mistake? The Metropolitan Police humiliated in the mainstream media? Incompetent person holds a highly responsible job?
4. The presenter claims that many Common Purpose graduates are pedophiles and gangsters. If we assume that is true for the sake of argument, is he suggesting that business/civic leaders actively seek out pedophiles and gangsters? No. That would be silly. So what is he saying? That pedophiles and gangsters seek out positions of power? So what if they do? Is he trying to create tension? Manipulate his audience?
5. The presenter didn't mention Common Purpose's clever disguise as a lucrative Management Training boondoggle for MBA types. Just because its "not-for-profit" doesn't mean that trainers don't get paid.
6. The presenter didn't use the word "corruption". If Common Purpose graduates are ruining things in Britain, I'd like to know how. If its corruption. then say "corruption". Why is he so cryptic?

Short reply point to point
1. I agree, the presentation could be improved. I warned you, it's not much fun.
2. He adresses himself to a conservative audience very much disenchanted with the state of the society they live in. To lay all the blame on "Common Purpose" may be hard to swallow, but his proposition actually is, that CP is not just a succesfull enterprise focused on management training, but a scheme to get the whole of society under the controll of a certain group. And one has to admit, he has some arguments for that.
3. It depends on how you do understand that incident. If it means "we can shoot-to-kill an innocent in a public place and get away with it" her relation to Common Purpose may be interesting.
4. His thesis is, CP tries to get local gangsters and pedophiles involved in their scheme to take over a local community. I didn't get he does claim, many graduates to be gangsters or pedophiles. This thesis rests mainly on the pyramid organigramm he claims someone has discovered among CP materials. So this may be not much more then speculation. And I admit the claim pedophiles are involved maybe an attempt to appeal on common resentments. But it's remarkable that even according to their website they are very orientated on certain local communities.
5. No, CP is not just "a lucrative Management Training boondoggle for MBA types" They say openly in their charter that they want their graduates to work in a way and for objectives CP thinks appropriate for society http://www.commonpurpose....
"We develop leaders who can lead beyond their authority, beyond their direct circle of control. Who can lead networks as well as organisations. Who can produce change even when they can't instruct or elicit trust in familiar ways. Who can sustain broader perspectives and who are confident in making connections between quite different groups of people and reconciling different worlds.
We believe that they will then be able to counterbalance the forces of fragmentation in society, getting communities to work better together. They will be better at using and combining scarce resources. And though they may only seldom produce huge shifts, they will deliver the accumulation of many small ones from which most change emerges."
6. In a way - according to the presenter - it's worse then corruption since they seem to work absolutely purpose(!)-orientated. He mentioned the financial inconsistencies of the Millenium Dome project. It may be corruption but then in the highest degree.
Maybe the presenter is alarmistic, but I think the facts are serious enough to keep an eye on them. And they are expanding. They now have got a German website and are now opening an office in a city I know pretty well.

This just sounds like Management Waffle.

Is David Brent a Common Purpose graduate?

Okay, I've got I haven't convinced you. But I will check this group in my hometown (not Cologne)

The "Old Boy Network" is very much a reality in Britain.
It is not tied to any political ideology. It is more a case of masonic handshakes and old school ties in the pursuit of money and power.
Of course, it has a corrosive influence on public life. Maybe Common Purpose are the 21st century Freemasons.
If you want to investigate them, the best way would be to apply for membership. I'm not joking.

Common Purpose in UK
Thanks for the post. Yes, I've heard of common purpose and you know when you come across their trainees because it's obvious without even asking. If you can compare Alice in Wonderland with real life situations,- that is common purp[ose. Also check out the meaning 'quango'. 9A non elected government appointed organisation which wealds power over and above democratic process. So a reminder: These power people are one and the same both sides of the Atlantic.
'I always think of all you canvassors and precinct leaders and delegates at the front line and caucuses.
Good luck out there &Thank you. You're a gift.
It's really bad!! Take the time
to watch this video. Especially if you are from Europe.

Is it just me or does this
Is it just me or does this group sound like something Ellsworth Toohey would create ;)
But seriously, I think it's incredible how big and powerful Common Purpose is, yet nobody talks about it.
Everything the Rockefeller's are involved in gets little to no scrutiny.

I lean something new about the rabbit hole every day on DP
Thanks, you are actually doing
research we should do ourselves. Sadly, Europe is still in apathy.
Dr. Paul cured my apathy
I found this: "It has been
I found this: "It has been developed by organisations like the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations in London which was funded into existence in 1946 with a grant from the Rockfeller Foundation and is one of the Illuminati’s global centres for developing the ‘hive mind’ mentality or ‘group and organisational behaviour’."
And yes, they do target young people. As young as 13!
Great!
It would be an interesting subject for an International C4F. I have seen they are pretty active in Germany. Wolves in sheep's clothing.
Dr. Paul cured my apathy
Interesting. Seems they have already expanded
http://www.commonpurpose....
Funny. They are not in the USA and Canada, but in Africa and Asia.
Would be interesting to know who is financing this.
Dr. Paul cured my apathy
I'd almost bet there is something
like that here in the US and in Canada. We better look around and see who in the world would have thought such crap. Damn, this rabbit hole is making me dizzy. I bet they are going after the young people in college. Hey, young people are there any such organizations like that where you go to school?
Peace
You mean they are exposing such a group
or do you mean, they ARE such a group and proud of it??? Are they like recruiting?
They ARE such a group. I
They ARE such a group.
I don't know enough about them to decide, but their website gave me the creeps!
I found these too http://rinf.com/alt-news/...
