You may be aware that, starting in January of this year, the
SEC also implemented another rule to make sure that we (investors) would get even less accurate information on which to base investment (risk :vs: reward) decisions. Their accounting rule SFAS 157 affects a practice called: Mark To Market valuation or accounting. Now it's more accurately described as Mark To Make Believe.
