Okay....I am going to test everyone here. Obviously we are all somewhat computer Savy. I own a store, and many customers come in. It is a Car Audio Store, so many times, when the customer is standing up front waiting for his new stereo to be installed we get into conversations. If we get into politics.... or If I just ask them blatantly "Hey, have you heard about Ron Paul?" If you ask anbody this question with excitement and enthusiasm in your voice (I MEAN REAL EXCITEMENT), they automatically get interested when they say NO? It is amazing. State the question fast and EXCITED.
Then, when they say NO, I say "He is running for President, and can save this country!" (Again SUPER EXCITED) They always want more. They ask all kinds of different questions...like who is he, what party blah blah...it doesn't matter what they asked...because I quickly turn our front desk monitor to them and say "Just watch this for a minute." Then I click to this video...
DO NOT TRY AND EXPLAIN WHO RON PAUL IS........IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THIS VIDEO!!!!!
Every person is ENTRANCED....old and young!!
Even thought the video is over 8 min long....every person is entranced!!
Every person that I have showed this video to has said one of 3 things...

If you have a laptop......download this video. Show it to everyone. Take your laptop Door to door. Show older people that do not have interest in the net and show them.
I had one person say... "This video almost brings tears to my eyes."! He was over 70 years old and said.. "This is what our country was meant to be about." I about fell over.
This video is by far the most powerful video ever.

Oh yeah...after showing this video...many times you have to explain the Tasering Part in the Video. It needs to be explained that that part of the video is showing how so many liberties have been taken away. That student asked John Kerry a question in a college campus, and was arrested and Tased for asking a question.

This video was the most incredible video I've ever seen.
I first seen it on the ronpaullive.com toolbar that I have on my browser. I have it also on my laptop.
I was at work one day, week before last, and my Regional Vice President was in town. We began to talk politics and so I spoke about Ron Paul. He said, "when I get home I'll check him out". I said... You don't have to, "I'll show in 9 minutes who he is".
When I finished, he was so overtaken that he called his wife and a friend whom he said had mentioned Congressman Paul once before to him. I listened to him all excited about Ron Paul (like he had just won the lottery).
He told me that he might have never checked him out if it had not been for the fact that I had the video so readily to play on my laptop. He called me on several occasions about others perspective folks he has managed to turn on to Congressman Paul in the exact same way as I did him.
It is!!
This video moves people!! It moved me!!

I think this is a powerful tool to reach many people who don't have a high speed connection.
Question is, how many people I gave one to actually watched it? I do not know. And for that reason, I really do like the idea of showing it on a laptop stuck in their face.

I was focusing on New Hamphire because we need to make a big showing in one of the early states. If the campaign hasn't gotten a big boost by a good showing in one of the early states by the time we get to Super Tuesday (my state of Wisconsin plus lot's of others), it's going to be an up hill battle. That made me realize I was jumping at shadows. Up to that point, I had been very careful about who was truly trying to cause problems. But I wrongly spoke out against one individual (who accepted my apology).
And I will tell you, that I personally decided to do the following. Comment on the information, not the poster. i.e. If a poster posts something 100% positive, I support it in my comments. If it is negative, I give my reason for disliking the information and then promptly stopped commenting in the thread.
Turning us against each other is a goal of theirs... And they succeeded for a short time. But not anymore...
But, the history of a poster matters, it can indicate either a chronic negativity or worse, and so it is a useful tool in determing whether it is worth carrying on a dialog with the individual.
With experience...
I think with some experience on dailypaul, we'll learn to re-inforce the positive and ignore the negative.
It's emotionally tempting to call the "shadows" out and alert others. I guess folks will have to figure it out for themselves.

Most of my posts have been really POSITIVE.
I posted a couple of my thoughts that could be taken as Negative, but not negative towards Ron Paul. I love the man.
My two posts below that you have some issue with.....here is why I posted them?
#1 My post in regards to how scared I am for Dr.Paul in regards to him going against every single corrupt gov't agency. My though was this....As Dr. Paul gains the momentum to be our next President, I feel the risk climbs....WHat do you think?
#2 On my other so called "Negative Post" I am not trying to get you to watch a "Terrorist Video". I viewed this video as a disgrace to our nation. I viewed this video as "Hidden Truth" of how the "Real War on Terror" is going. War is not pretty. War is not just numbers. IT is a joke to me how this gov't "THIS MONTH" is stating that "ONLY" 34 US soldiers died. In my opinion ONE is too many.
If this video was played on all of the MSM, what reaction would it have. Again, in my opinion, America would be pissed, as I am. My motivation to put this video up was just to show people "With Warning" what is possibly happening to our troops. This gets me, and I hope others more fired up to get RP into office.

Tuesday is election day
The people who vote in local elections are definitely going to vote in the presidential primary as well.
Take your laptop, iPod, iPhone, projector, etc and set up shop outside of a precinct on Tuesday! Have some sort of handout that they can take with them. You'd hate to convince them only to have them forget his name.

I would really like to learn how to get some Ron Paul vids on a cd. I have many friends up here in the mountains of western Washington that do have the internet and the only info they get is what I can bring them. They know who he is and I have converted two. One very left wing. I was telling him about Ron Paul. Now when I go over he tells me about Ron Paul.
They have computers etc. but no land lines for net and some don't want them. But they love the info and they share it with other friends.
I would like to make cd's for them. no charge. out of my own pocket. ya dig? not for sale. Lots of vids on you tube but I can't get to them.

It is a higher quality version to. I would make this in Windows as well as in Real.
Windows movie maker is easy to work with. Once you have the file you can just drag it onto your CD burner drive and follow instructions.
I burn CDs once in a while for my business. But several people to do this for a living should be set up to do this.

Just google "Download Youtube Videos" and tons of free sites come up that will grab the video. Then you need to convert it if necessary to the proper format you want it viewed in. After converting it...then use NERO or some other program to burn them. You need to decide if you want them in DVD format, or viewed on a computer.

People need to make a CD
CDs are only about 10 cents each now and these could be handed out with cards. We should all attempt to reach every one of our neighbours and relatives with such a CD. In this way we could reach that 70% of Americans that would respond positively to this message of hope and realism. Someone needs to set up a website just like the Nov 5th webpage and really push this until we all have cds to do this. A united drive like this would get a lot of attention and support.
