Independent Ralph Nader is holding an 'Open the Debates' Rally in Minneapolis on September 4th. It will be held at Orchestra Hall, two days after the Rally for the Republic. Featured speakers are Nader, his VP Gonzalez, Nellie McKay, Cindy Sheehan, and Tom Nielson.
If I were in charge of the Ron Paul campaign, I would not only invite Nader and Gonzalez (hell even their guest speakers) and their supporters, but also send everyone at the RFTR over to Nader's rally.
The only way to change this nation is to form a coalition, with a massive tent, of people willing to change things. Push the Republican and Democrat tools out of Washington and replace them with well-meaning folks from the Ron Paul-Republicans, to the Kucinich-Democrats, to the Green Party, Libertarian Party, and Constitution Party.
IMAGINE THE ULTIMATE "OTHER GUY" COALITON!!
The ultimate coalition of independent minded political figures, standing united as one against the neoconservatives that have ruined this nation. United to overthrow the corporate fascism and big government that has destroyed our nation over the years. They may disagree on many issues, and so may you, but they all have one thing in mind: returning integrity to government and creating a truly representative system that can accommodate the citizens as they see fit. I would love to see these folks unite…even though I personally despise some of them (Baldwin, Buchanan, Perot).
Ron Paul, Matt Gonzalez, Ralph Nader, Ross Perot, Chuck Baldwin, Pat Buchanan, Bob Barr, Michael Badnarik, Michael Peroutka, Jesse Ventura, Cynthia McKinney, Cindy Sheehan, Ted Weill, Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel, Amy Goodman, Anthony Romero, Chalmers Johnson, Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, etc, etc etc….LIST SOME THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE!!

Wise Strategy
Getting the left and right together to battle the establishment is the only way to successfully regain the integrity of our vote and to restore our Republic. Treat your fellow American like a human being first, before judging them on their political beliefs. The best way to spread the virtues of the free market is to have many FRIENDS who will gladly listen to your ideas in civilized conversations. It does nothing to have these two giant hate-filled ideological walls blocking any chance for peacefull discussion or the exchanging of ideas.

Ralph is very good on foreign policy and police state issues. If he ever learns some economics he would be an all-around defender of freedom.

along your lines. I think Break the Matrix is too. What is keeping these people from inviting Dr. Paul? I think there must be something fundamental that we are not aware of. I suspect though in the coming weeks and months our vision could happen. Maybe, they are testing one another. Dr. Paul has had a rough road all these years a LONE voice. Do you blame him for wanting to keep his message pure. Why would he come this far and say oh, well sure I'll give in. I don't think so. I sure the hell wouldn't give in now. Nothing is keeping these people from joining this revolution. Dr. Paul welcomes everyone. Peace

I wish he would run third party...Baldwin and Barr could drop out...and RP could mount THE largest third party campaign ever....because you know the B&B camps would funnel into his camp....Since Nader and McKinney are more liberal, they would detract from the indepedents torn between Obama and McCain..
