I have no doubt (sorry... call me paranoid, but it ain't paranoia if they really are 'out to get you') the Republican National Committee is issuing veiled and not-so-veiled threats to the national media to NOT give any coverage to the Rally for the Republic.
Don't be surprised if the Target Center has very few major media cameras pointed at it. This will prove once and for all that there is some kind of organized alliance between the Democratic and Republican parties to quell any disruption of their stranglehold on power.

How about this..........leak the info that Ron Paul is going to name Jesse Ventura as a running mate and challange the Dems and GOP by, once again, leading the Libertarian Party in the general election. Do you think CBS, NBC, would cover that? They would have to! It's not that Ron Paul's message has been wrong, I think more and more people see his logic now. It's just that his every effort has been thwarted by, who? The GOP themselves! They're the ones that leaned on the media to ignore and diminish Ron Paul from consideration. And with friends like that, who needs enemies? I wouldn't walk away from the GOP, I'd run! I mean, if Ron Paul was, and is, serious about a bid for the White House, he only has 2 possibilities. One is outlined above, and the other is to hope the DVDs4Delegates campaign has a miracle outcome. Either way, he'll need strong VP contender that can bring some real teeth to the fight, because they'll need to be extremely hard hitting from here on out. Ventura's the only one that is close in belief and can deliver the message with authority. I think we need to really shake things up, or go back to sleep.

i heard chuck todd mention the ron paul people last night, he said something like "next week we will see the same kind of thing with the ron paul people" referring to two women who were saying obama was a registered muslim in denver. pitiful. also anyone notice anything strange at appx. 3 min 25 sec. into kennedy's speech when they pan to biden after kennedy says he will be on the senate floor in jan. 2009

The media is going to try and equate our supporters with the other crazy (left-wing) protesters to try to discredit our movement. That is a guarantee, MY FRIEND.

Everyone who has a video camera, especially those who can record video,
take theirs to the rally. Copy the footage to a DVD or upload it to media websites. If it's DVD-quality, you can be sure some media outlet will want it.

#1. Someone just called into C-Span saying the same thing you did and the woman hosting said the Ron Paul Rally will be broadcasted live on C-Span 2
#2. The RNC will be turned off by viewers as soon as the first threat to Iran happens and when they start preaching the anti-Obama crap.

I think there will be coverage for two reasons. One, the McSame coronation is going to be like watching paint dry. They will be hungry for some news, some crowd, that isn't soporific. Two, those factions of the MSM that favor Obama will want to paint a picture of disunity in the Republican party. No better way to do that than to cover a competing event.

I have been contacted by two reporters just this week - one in Brazoria, TX, and one who works for the Associated Press - about the Ronvoy and the Rally.
I think the press is going to be all over this one - they don't want to cover a dead fish like McCain, when Pauliticians abound! They have told us that WE are the ONLY thing there that will be worth covering.
