The OUTSIDE PARTY!

Imagine all of the outsiders joining together to form a new party called THE OUTSIDE PARTY as in "Outside of Washington".

This could include, the CFL, Barr, Baldwin, Ventura, Nader, Perot, The Green Party, The Constitution Party etc. including whoever else was against Washington.

Bringing the power of all of a those folks together could get a lot more done as a single entity than they could ever hope to by themselves!

Other names like the

United Party or Consolidated Party.

We DPers are a microcosm of that idea

We here are made up of people with numerous variances of beliefs and ideologies, but we all embrace a common theme. That commonality is our strength.

Likewise, focusing on commonalities among the parties listed in the OP would be the fortitude of the "Outside" Party.

For the purposes of liberty, it is not our differences that define us. As a wise man has been known to say:

Freedom brings us together.

So, Step One would be: identify the commonalities. Then go from there.

I have a recommendation for a new party name: "The Restoration Party" - dedicated to the restoration of our Founding Fathers' principles.

It would be ground breaking if

we could get all 3rd party candidates to fall in with one candidate and throw all the backing and funds. I think we could all get behind smacking down the 2 party system. They settle for a candidate they do'nt neccessarily like for party unity. It is time for all 3rd parties to unify against the 2 party system. Could it work? They all know they ca'nt win on thier own. But what if they all united? Should we try to get them to consider this? Maybe even agree to take a running mate from another 3rd party. Something drastic needs to happen. Can we really survive another 4 years of the republicrats? Is this a possibility you think? Any of them would love to have all of the Paul backers. We could insist they at least make Dr Paul secretary of the treasury.

hmmm....not bad! And the

hmmm....not bad! And the initials just happen to include RP.

nice idea but the party name

nice idea but the party name should be carefully considered. I could see this one quickly becomming the Outhouse Party :-)

Imagine the numbers of voters this would create.

JM
I've often thought of this myself. But I think the only way it could ever work would be to have a strong leader. I am a Paul supporter, but lets face it, he's not getting any younger. If just one powerful leader would step up to the plate and start organizing all the (fringe parties) then I think it could work. I have no idea who it would be, but I think this is what it will take for the majority in the USA to have a voice.

bump

Sounds like a party made up of

6th graders yearning to make kickball mandatory in all schools.. probably would bicker as much too if you were to put folks like Nader, Ventura, Perot, etc in the same room :-)

When McSame comes in 4th (behind Obama, Barr, Nader) in November I will laugh my ass off.

You must have forgotten about

JM
Lyndon Larouche. He has a fringe following too.

What would bring them together is their one common enemy -

Washington!
