When Protest Is Terrorism
RNC 8 Charged as Terrorists Under State Patriot Act
By Bruce Nestor

In what appears to be the first use of criminal charges under the 2002 Minnesota version of the Federal Patriot Act, Ramsey County Prosecutors have formally charged 8 alleged leaders of the RNC Welcoming Committee with Conspiracy to Riot in Furtherance of Terrorism. Monica Bicking, Eryn Trimmer, Luce Guillen Givins, Erik Oseland, Nathanael Secor, Robert Czernik, Garrett Fitzgerald, and Max Spector, face up to 7 1/2 years in prison under the terrorism enhancement charge which allows for a 50% increase in the maximum penalty.

I think.....

we need to re-establish our government if these people get charged for terrorism even though they are protesting political parties, not actual government bodies. Therefore, the patriot act is protecting certain private organization's, and thus could fall under the RICO act.
Hippocrates.

Lol with this title

It's too bad "terrorist" doesn't have the same amount of syllables as "Dr. Pepper". Imagine what we could do on youtube with that song and the word terrorist inserted.

I can live with that.

I've already been called an infidel, dissenter and a bunch of other things. May as well chalk this one up on the list and get a T-shirt made for this one too.

HEY! Maybe since I was considered an infidel in Iraq, and now I'm considered a terrorist here, but they consider the Iraqis terrorists too, they cancel each other out and I'm no longer an infidel? How cool is that... If I go back over there, I can play kickball with the other kids and not be left out this time.

twisted minds, ha.

Well,I guess we won't

be putting our underpants(sling shots if the elastic is still good)
on our heads and singing down with Boosh in the streets any time soon!

Here's another terrorist

Excellent article! Thanks for posting this.

The "shield" was most probably a toboggan for sliding down hill in the snow. It is just a plastic shell, smooth on the bottom with a rope handle on each side. Like the cover for a round 30 gallon trash can. Law enforcement has to prove a reason for all of the billions in homeland security we taxpayers are forced to pay. The problem is, we need the protection from the homeland security people.

Jesus Christ! (my apologies to the religious)

I guess this means we need to clear our homes of:

All knives including steak knives
penils and pens
pins thumbtacks
weedeaters
edgers
hedge trimmers
lawn mowers
scrap pieces of plumbing pipe
propane tanks on our grills
gas cans
kerosene cans
matches
lighters
glues
paints
deadly fecal bacteria in our bathrooms
cleaning chemicals and solvents
any glass objects including windows
pesticides
any books
fertilizers
forks
gloves
hats
jackets
halloween masks
nylon stockings
medications
our getaway cars that we drive to work each day
swimming pools must be filled in so we can't drown kidnappees in them
water shut off so we can't waterboard them back
extension cords
ropes
nails
hammers
pliers
saws- God forbid we might cut someone into pieces
hatchets - see above
electricity- so we don't torture someone with electric shock
pets- trained to kill for a beggin strip
the beggin strips
paper - paper cuts are brutal
salt- that might be used in the paper cuts
wooden furniture- that we might carve a weapon out of with our steak knives
letter openers
toilets - porcelain is sharp when broken and they house dealy bio-agents
spices- just in case we are demented terroists that may apply them to toilet paper

video games and consoles- so we aren't training our reaction times
all containers- cuz we might put something in them that becomes difficult to identify

trees and shrubs in the yard- we may intend to jump out of in a surpise attack
copies of the Constitution- we may be forced to shove them up someones ass

In a nutshell America:

Where the fuck does this stupidity end?

You forgot "box cutters"!

Heh!

Lol

What about the frame of my glasses? I've seen some pretty sweet-ass spy moves just using those to stab someone. I'm sure my cigarettes could also be used in some nefarious fashion, as well as my credit cards...

For liberty!! *gong*

Maybe time to consider 'thinning' the police 'overpopulation'

They have reproduced 4,600% since Homeland security started having intercourse with local law enforcement.

It would seem

JM
homeland security is going to make good use of the FEMA camps. These arrests amount to nothing more than making these people political prisoners. Welcome to the (BRUSA) banana republic of the usa.

jury trial

jury nullification

I should think

that most people realized that this would be the case.
Yes, it is horrible.
Yes, it was fully expected because of the nature of the tyranny that is in place.

It was obvious that this law had nothing to do with any "dangerous terrorists".
It was ALWAYS intended for use against dissenters and political enemies.
These guys make great Nazis. They should get some uniforms.

The more they

do these things the closer it gets were we have to

consider new options...

one thing is certain

I won´t back down...

Hell, section 802 of the "Patriot" Act defines "terrorism" as any act dangerous to human life that violates state or federal law.
