Go to his campaign website and look at his writings and stand on issues. While young, he is very thoughtful, and very much in the Ron Paul tradition. At the same time, he has all the right superficial credentials (married with children, a medical doctor and small business entrepreneur, of Christian faith without wanting to force his beliefs on anyone etc. etc.). He seems like a great asset to our movement, and I really hope he does well, and sticks with us for the long term. We need people like him.
It seems to me that one of the great strengths of the Ron Paul / CFL movement, is our ability to bring national attention to local races where one of the contestants is ‘one of us’. This allows ‘our guy’ to enjoy campaign contributions from all over the country, while even better known local opponents are pretty much limited to their local district. This way we can help the freedom guys fight entrenched incumbents, in a way never before possible.
His campaign still needs to rasie funds. He is just under $3,000.00 from reaching his goal of $500,000.00
If you have a few dollars how about pushing that Tote Board on his website just a little higher. (Press the blue Lawson for Congress sign on the right side of the Daily Paul)
CFL also needs funding for their urgent campaign outreach project!!
God speed BJ. We are with you with our support, our dollars and prayers
which is soon to be B.J.'s district. I have been so inspired by his campaign and his fight for liberty. Voting has begun and though I have already cast my vote for Dr. Lawson, I'm going to be working hard to convince others.
The CFL wants to help us do this so please, if you haven't donated yet, do it soon. We need the exposure the CFL can provide.
I found out about Lawson when RP endorsed him. Seems like a great guy... and he looks good too. Doesn't matter to me personally, but I know that a lot of average voters are prejudiced towards candidates who don't "look the part".
Just took a break from phone banking for BJ. I have a new appreciation for folks who make their living calling people and will be much nicer when I answer the phone from now on.
In spite of the difficulties, it's worth it to support BJ. I am making these calls from South Carolina and you can help also by emailing him and getting a list of the next 50 people on their caller list.
NEED AN UPDATE
How close is he to the $500,000 mark?
heard a lot about this guy but this ad
Makes him look like a kid, not someone who is going to fight for our rights.
I could easily see him getting talked over and trampled on in a debate.

I hope he gets in...
...and then gets a bit hardened.....they will eat him up if he doesn't.
